Enjoying her chemo breakViews: 276

Just an update. My mom has been off of chemo (Folfox/Avastin) for about a month. She has been enjoying it very much and is feeling pretty good. She started a natural chemotherapy called chelidonine it comes from the Ukraine. Mom will be off traditional chemo at least until the first of the year. When my mom first arrived in Scottsdale her eyes were very puffy and she had reddness all over her face due to the chemo. It was burning her. The folfox chemo wasn’t working very well so hopefully if she tries a different chemo she will have better success. We also may find a doctor that does the sir spheres.
We definetely feel she is getting better care here with Envita as well as with the Mayo Clinic. Will keep you all posted but just wanted to let you know what’s going on. Definetely enjoying my mom being closer and being able to see her almost daily.

:) Sarah
